Thermal Waters

The thermal waters of Balneario de la Virgen Spa Hotel are classified as: bicarbonate, sulphate, calcium-magnesium, lithium and slightly radioactive (0.11 Nanocuries/litre) waters. Thermal waters spring at a temperature of 30-34 centigrade degrees. The S. José, S. Antonio and Primitivo or de las Pilas springs have an estimated capacity of 2 million litres a day. The capacity of the thermal lake has not been calculated so far, but it is considered to be the biggest thermal spring found in the area.

They were declared as public interest in February 1888.
