The Spa
Balneario de la Virgen Spa Hotel started its therapeutic activity in 1828, being one of the oldest Spas in Spain.
Its origins can be found in the natural swimming pool that was built in Jaraba in the Middle Ages (12th century), which fed (and feeds) from the so-called Waters of the Nymphs (the hot water springs located around the Mesa river), whose beneficial effects were attributed to the miraculous power of Our Lady of Xaraba.
The Complex is located in an abrupt landscape filled with vegetation, in a privileged environment, perfect to develop numerous activities to complement the therapeutic and hydrothermal treatments.
