Nature
The Balneario de la Virgen Thermal Complex is located in the Cañón del Río Mesa, a singular landscape where many activities can be developed.
Flora: This area is plenty of willows, white poplars and black poplars occupying large extensions of land. You will also find sictus trees and rosemary in the rocky areas.
Fauna: This area has a wide variety of fauna, housing an important colony of griffon vultures. It is also possible to see eagles, Egyptian vultures, peregrine falcons, Eurasian eagle-owls, black wheatears, Red-billed Chough, Dartford warblers and Thekla Larks.
Natural routes
Gallocanta Lagoon: located in the centre of the Iberian System, it is the main wetland of Aragón and is very well-known in Europe because it is part of the migration route of the cranes between Europe and Africa in autumn and spring.
Alto Tajo Natural Park: It is a very interesting natural site because of its wide variety of flora and fauna, its canyons and narrow passes. The natural entrance to the Park is in Molina de Aragón (Guadalajara).
